Spring is a season full of vibrant color & blinding beauty, so it's no wonder couples choose this season to declare their love! While weddings are in full bloom, it usually means that there's bridesmaids the world over who may wonder what do with their new dresses.
 
Don't get stuck with something you'll only wear once. Create a whole new look by learning the art of accessorizing. This pastel beauty is made more glam with diamond chandelier earrings, a tennis bracelet, jeweled ankle heels, and glitter french tips. Bring a bit of zing by topping it off with plum eyeshadow!
 
Transition it from formal to flirty by playing with values in the same color family. Plum or Navy are royal hues that go great with pastels such as lavender. A gold trimmed envelope clutch, wedges, studded bangles & belt, and matching nail polish all help to pull this look together taking this dress from elegant to electrifying!

This is my take of the current Spring Trend for Menswear; Denim on Denim.
 
Admittedly, I'm not a big fan of the heralded jean jacket. It's one of those articles of clothing that looks great on everyone else, but it just seems to add unwanted bulk on my already busty frame. However, "they" say that there's one for everyBODY, so I guess I just haven't found "the one" quite yet. In the meantime, I've found a great denim alternative; the denim top! Here's some tips on how you can accessorize it and make this trend your own!
 
*Pair it with dyed denim so as to add a color boost to your look
*Select softer lightweight denim that's malleable, which allows it to form over the natural curves of the body. If it's not belted then simply add your own! Add some texture by incorporating items like braided belts!
*Wear bold shoes & accessories like layered bangles or animal print shoes to add excitement to your ensemble!
*Add a fedora or a cute hat. Complimentary headgear is like adding the cherry on top!
*Include other pieces such as denim heels or a clutch.
 
The key to modernizing this 90s trend is to mix and match denim washes, add dyed denim to break up the monotony of the look, wear softer lightweight and stretchy denim, and spice it up with denim-inspired shoes and accessories!

According to GQ, 2013 is the "Year of the Waistcoat," and judging by its presence on the red carpet, there's no denying that it has made a full fledged return!
Make this trend your own by pairing it with a simple v-neck, dark denim jeans, a matching driving cap and shoes in deep mahogany. Additions like the pocket watch and argyle socks take an otherwise simple look to a whole new level!
Dress it up a bit with a button-down (remember; leave a few on the top undone), slacks, matching belt and moccasins, and be sure to distinguish yourself from the masses by adding a gold bow tie (or necktie) with a complimentary fedora!
